Precautions

Consult your physician before using magnets if you have a pacemaker or defibrillator. Some brands of pacemakers and defibrillators have batteries that can be discharged more rapidly when magnets are introduced. You may also contact the manufacturer of your particular device as they will know best about their unit.

Consult your physician before using magnets during pregnancy. Magnets have been used successfully during many pregnancies, but some physicians may prefer that you not use them until after delivery.

Remove magnets before having surgery and do not reapply them until you have been cleared by your physician to do so. (Usually 3 to 5 days)

Remove magnets if you sustain an injury that causes bruising to occur. Because magnets increase circulation they can increase bruising following an injury. Once the bruising has stopped developing you can reapply your magnets as they can help the bruise to dissolve and disappear faster.

Do not use magnets on your abdomen within 90 minutes of a meal. Some medications may become more effective with the use of magnets and dosages may need to be adjusted by your physician.

The use of magnets should NOT replace treatment from a qualified medical professional.

Any self-help application is the sole responsibility of the user.

Do not wear magnets next to your wrist watch.

Do not wear a magnetic bracelet when working on a lap top computer. Our magnets have about a 3/4 inch penetration rate. You can wear necklaces, anklets and earrings while working on a lap top computer and you can wear all magnetic jewelry while working on a desk top computer.

Earrings offer no therapeutic value.
