How do I care for my jewelry?

Because our magnets are rocks they are very durable. However, the line that our jewelry is strung on is 80-pound test monofilament fishing line. It will melt under high heat or shrink if left in the sunshine off of your body.

To clean you have several options:

1. Rinse under clear tap water and dry with a cloth.
2. Immerse them in liquid jewelry cleaner. Allow them to soak for up to 15 minutes, and then rinse with clear tap water and dry.
3. Attach them around the top shelf of you dishwasher. Allow to run through all the wash and rinse cycles. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO GO THROUGH THE HEATED DRY CYCLE. This is too hot for the line. We recommend you remove your jewelry when bathing or showering because soap scum will stick to the beads and cause them to look dull.

We also recommend you remove you jewelry for swimming. The chlorine is too hard on our clasp. Also, our clasps are of a man-made material. The only problem we ever have with our clasps are that some wearers experience rusting. That typically happens with people that have a high acid content in their sweat. Should rusting occur in the first 30 days, we will restring and repair at no charge to you except shipping costs. After 30 days you will be charged a restring fee. If less than 6 months since purchase, restring fee will be reduced.
